Teddy Talks Quarry Springs

I’m Teddy, and I’d like to tell you about where I live, it’s called Quarry Springs. I live in a condo, with plenty of space to run around. It’s super nice! One of my favorite things to do is go out on one of the balconies, play, and sometimes that’s where I eat my after dinner treats. There are so many cool things about where I live, but one of the best is the awesome staff. They are so nice and friendly, and every time I walk in they say, “Welcome home Teddy!”

And get ready for this, not long after moving in, I met the love of my life, my girlfriend Rosie. She also lives in Quarry Springs, she’s sweet, smart, and she visits patients at hospitals to cheer them up. She’s an angel. And I will tell you, it was love at first sniff. The first time she looked in my direction, I was so blown away, all I could do was play dead. She’s a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and her whimper is my command. Yes, if you haven’t figured it out by now I’m a dog, more specifically a fabulous 7 year old golden retriever. And if Papi could talk in the movie, “Beverly Hills Chihuahua, in this case I can write. So let’s just go with it people, thanks.

Most people would agree, I’m what they would call the ambassador of Quarry Springs. Everyone knows me, loves to cuddle with me, and it’s safe to say when the elevator doors open, the hope is yours truly will come prancing out, without a leash by the way. I’ve been trained by the top dogs in dog training. My true obsession (besides beef jerky) is my frisbee. About 3 times a day, I go to this big field between the buildings and play frisbee with my dads. It’s fun and I like to stay fit. Rosie loves me, but she doesn’t like love handles.

I also love being so close to so many dog parks and nature trails where my friends and I can go for walks and play, there are also these great pathways along the canal to explore. And downtown Bethesda is so close and canine friendly. There are so many amazing restaurants, lots of them allow dogs to join. Lucky for me my dads understand my sophisticated taste, so if they order a NY strip medium rare, you can bet Teddy’s gettin’ some in his tummy as well. Everybody wins.

It’s also good to know we live in an enclosed community, where cars go very slow, making it a very safe place for us dogs. It’s especially important for my friend Millie. She’s a Shih Tzu, who thinks she’s a Rottweiler, I love her to death, but she’s a bit of wild card. She texts me all the time for playdates and it’s totally fine with Rosie, we both believe men and women CAN be friends. Quarry Springs also has amazing concierge services, one of them being dog walking. So basically if my dads aren’t around, one of the fantastic staff members takes me out for my daily walks. I hear sometimes they argue over who gets to take me, I tell them not to worry, they’ll all get their quality Teddy time.

When you think Quarry Springs, you think top-notch everything…and Teddy. I’m everyone’s dog, and from what they tell me, I make everyone feel even more at home. If you’re looking for a place to live, consider Quarry Springs. In addition to the best concierge services, cream of the
crop luxury condominiums, you’re guaranteed lots of cuddles from me. And if you come to Quarry Springs and have a dog, even better! We could use a few more members for our book club, this week we’re reading Old Yeller.
